A Tight-Knit Community of Log Home Enthusiasts

We're not a corporation. We're a family — and every person on our team brings genuine passion, hands-on skill, and a personal investment in the homes we build. When you call Merrimac, you're talking to the people who actually make it happen.

Jeff French — President, Merrimac Log Homes

Jeff French

President

Jeff started his career at 15 in his uncle's sawmill, learning the craft from the ground up before rising through the ranks to become President of Merrimac. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and his dedication to mentoring the next generation of woodworkers, Jeff leads by example every day on the mill floor. He lives with his wife Amanda and their two daughters in a modern log home — and still finds time for the golf course and keeping a perfect lawn.

Amanda French — Vice President, Merrimac Log Homes

Amanda French

Vice President

Amanda is often the first voice new customers hear when they call Merrimac — and the warmth and expertise she brings to that first conversation says everything about the company's culture. She built her deep industry knowledge through years of hands-on job site experience, and she applies that same ground-level understanding to overseeing operations every day. Outside the office, Amanda enjoys Florida winters, gardening, speed reading, and cooking for the family.

Anthony Rosales — Mill Worker, Merrimac Log Homes

Anthony Rosales

Mill Worker

Originally from Jacksonville, North Carolina, Anthony brings a combination of precision craft and great energy to the Merrimac mill floor. A skilled forklift operator and a legendary grillmaster, he's most proud of his dovetail work — a detail that takes patience, a steady hand, and a real feel for the wood. Anthony's philosophy in one phrase: patience, teamwork, and safety. Family time and backyard bonfires are how he recharges.

Daniel Rosales — Mill Worker, Merrimac Log Homes

Daniel Rosales

Mill Worker

Daniel came to Merrimac with a military background and experience working across multiple states — a foundation that instilled discipline, adaptability, and a deep respect for doing things right the first time. His most memorable project at Merrimac? A timber frame assembly that required every bit of that precision. An autumn enthusiast and accomplished grillmaster, Daniel embodies the team's commitment to lifelong learning and excellence on the job.
